Chapter 3 Notes

Question: On page 53 Curley goes into the bunkhouse and ask for his wife and if they've seen Slim. Did Curley assume Slim was with his wife ? Is he afraid that Slim can take his wife ?


Prediction: I predict that Curley will have a new found respect for Lennie. Due to the fact that, Lennie proved himself to be a psychically strong guy, by hurting Curley to the floor. Curley underestimated Lennie and now he knows Lennie can cause harm. 


Reflect: On page 63 Curley finally decides to attack Lennie. Instead of reacting quickly he, looked at George and asked him to get him off. This is a sign to me that Lennie does depend on George and without him he could be loss, hurt and lonely etc.
