Chapter 2 Notes

Prediction: I think that in the chapters to come Lennie will forget two of the things George told him. Judging on the way Lennie was looking at Curley's wife I think Lennie will begin to bother her. Lennie forgets things constantly even after being reminded so much. I predict that will be Curley's breaking point with Lennie and want to fight him, causing problems with their job situation.

Question: If both Lennie and George don't like the place they are working at, why don't they find a different place ? They can earn a little money somewhere else as well.

Summarize: George and Lennie finally reached the Bunkhouse and they were greeted and shown their beds, while waiting for the boss. When the boss finally came and semi-interviewed them, George did all the talking for both him and Lennie. They met Curley; the bosses'  son and Curley did not like Lennie, George warned him that Curley was going to bother him but to avoid him for the sake of the job.
